Dr. Yanping Jiang’s early career research recognized by APS
The article, entitled “Residential Segregation and Depressive Symptoms in Older Chinese Immigrants: The Mediating Role of Social Processes,” was published in The Gerontologist in October 2023.
The article, entitled “Residential Segregation, Perceived Neighborhood Environment, and All-Cause Mortality Among Community-Dwelling Older Chinese Americans,” was published in The Journals of Gerontology: Series B in September 2023.
Dr. Marie Sizemore gave a poster presentation titled “Examining yoga practice and perceived barriers to yoga in a sample of SMM LWH” at the Symposium on Yoga Research in October 2023.
Dr. Ashley Grosso, core faculty member at the Center for Population Behavioral Health and assistant professor in the Department of Urban-Global Public Health, recently published new research.
The article, “Sexually Transmitted Infection Risks and Symptoms Heightened Among Female Sex Workers who Started Selling Sex Before the Age of 18 in Five Cities in Cameroon,” was published in AIDS and Behavior in October 2023.
Dr. Carolyn Sartor was an invited speaker at the Rutgers Addiction Research Center’s Fall Symposium – an event which showcased the breadth of addiction research and provided opportunities for researchers to connect with clinical services across Rutgers.
Dr. Marie Sizemore publishes new research in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
Dr. Marie Sizemore is set to present research titled “Optimizing app-based PPIs: Considerations for JITAI design, EMI delivery, and micro-randomized trial design” at 2023 IPPA World Congress on Positive Psychology during a session on Emerging Topics in Positive Psychological Interventions in July 2023 in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Yanping Jiang gave an oral presentation titled “Neighborhood cohesion, living alone, and all-cause mortality in community-dwelling older Chinese Americans” at the Gerontological Society of America 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in November 2022 in Indianapolis, IN.
