Nicole D. Parisi (Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, 2023) is a graduate student in the program of Applied Positive Psychology. She works as a Research Assistant for the Rutgers Institute of Health, Healthcare Policy, and Aging Research. Previously, she was a Graduate Research Assistant at Saint Joseph University’s Cognitive and Behavioral Interventions Research Lab. Here, she proposed a thesis exploring the impacts of a virtual reality mindfulness meditation intervention on emotion. She is interested in applying positive psychology within higher education and contributing to further cutting-edge psychological research.
